It has been such a blessing being a part of Tori and Mike’s wedding season. We first met Tori’s family a few years back when her sister, Jeanice, got married so it was an extra special treat to be with everyone again and share in the joy of this celebration. Tori and Mike were so easy-going – despite the early day downpour and off-an-on showers, they were troopers – nothing was going to spoil their day! The weather continued to surprise us with the occasional peek of blue skies through puffy white clouds – beautiful!

It seems as though our Spring weather has been all over the place this year – from unusually sunny and warm to cold and rainy with gusts of wind – every weekend an adventure! But, Liz and Teddy’s wedding day weather was absolutely beautiful and only added to all the joy and excitement that was already bursting at the seams! It’s so much fun getting to know our brides and grooms and see how their unique personalities and ideas play out on their wedding day – no two are ever the same which makes it extra special! We’ve known Angelica’s sweet family for many years and were honored to shoot her sister’s wedding (Michaela and Patrick) just a little over a year ago. We were doubly-excited to get to see everyone again AND capture Angelica and Andrew’s perfect wedding day at the beautiful Summerour Studio in Atlanta ~ Enjoy!

The ceremony was extra special with Angelica’s Dad officiating…

And their send off was definitely a first! A stray firecracker had Patrick making a mad dash to intercede and protect little Grace who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time! Our hero in action! :D

One of the sweetest refrains we hear when we ask, “What are you anticipating most about your wedding day?” is an excited ”Having all of our favorite people in one place!” (of course!) :D

There’s absolutely nothing prettier than a spring wedding in Savannah! Especially with a couple as kind and fun as Lindsey and Shefy! It was such a delight to be a part of their wedding day celebration in the historic and beautiful Forsyth Park in downtown Savannah and reception at the grand Whitman home nearby. The bluest skies and light breeze only added to the JOY of this special day with family and friends!
