jadie and jim

Every wedding has it’s own special story – those funny, unexpected moments, that adrenaline rush as everyone hurries to  their places before the ceremony starts, the tiny flower girl with the last minute hesitation as she ponders that long walk down the aisle, and on and on.  Each moment so precious.  Well, Jadie and Jim will have a lifetime of stories to share and their wedding day will be a huge one!  There is nothing as wonderful as an outdoor reception at a bride’s home but it is definitely NOT for the faint of heart.  Despite the growing threat of thunderstorms and tornado warnings on this wedding day, Jadie’s mom and dad remained cool, calm and collected (at least they seemed cool, calm and collected!)  And, with Jadie’s wonderful outlook on things, her ever-helpful bridesmaids, and the awesome skills of Tijen Owings of Creme Events and her crew, the day was pulled off with grace, elegance, and style!  (… and, maybe a little mud along the way …)  FUN!

yes… we were having lots of fun with the wedding rings …

the wedding ceremony was held at Birmingham United Methodist Church in Alpharetta

The showers held off just long enough for Jadie and Jim to run through the sparkler send-off – and then the bottom fell out!  A funny after-story – as we were taking all of our gear to the car, Frank decided to hurry on ahead and come back to pick me up.  Well, it was raining so hard (that sideways kind of rain) that he didn’t see me and drove right on by.  I stood in the back of the field in the driving rain until he realized that I must have been right behind him!  We couldn’t stop laughing at how ridiculous we must have looked with all of our gear wrapped up in rain ponchos and mud up to our knees!  Truly unforgettable – and we loved every minute of it!

Thank you Jadie and Jim!  We think you two are the GREATEST!
