Imagine planning your ultimate outdoor wedding ceremony, all the tiny details in place, months of preparing and envisioning just how it’s all going to look and feel, and then, dark, thunderous, threatening clouds appear on the horizon…  That’s exactly what happened on Danielle and Greg’s wedding day ~ not just the typical afternoon sprinkle or two that comes and goes but one of those storms that whips up the winds and causes everyone to scan the sky for a tornado tail.  All the outdoor chairs were in place, neatly set row upon row ~ but, with less than an hour remaining until the ceremony start time, the decision had to be made ~ yes, move it all indoors.   Definitely a decision not to be made lightly, Danielle took it all in stride and never dropped her smile as everyone hurried to bring flowers and decorations into the church sanctuary. What a sweet reminder that her day wasn’t so much about the details as it was about marrying the man she loves!  We loved that!  And, of course, Danielle looked radiant and beautiful ~ what a special, fun-filled day!  Enjoy!!

The outdoor ceremony was moved indoors to the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church ~ a wonderful back-up!

We were SO impressed with the Marietta Pedi-Cab driver’s strength to get the momentum needed to get out on Whitlock Avenue (which is always crazy) and up the hill toward the Square!  Don’t you love this fun idea for transportation?!  :D

The reception was held at the beautiful and historic Marietta-Cobb Museum of Art. As a surprise for Danielle and Greg, there were lit trees lining the steps to the Museum doors that gave everyone a glimpse of the ‘tree’ theme of their evening reception.  Even the Museum’s exhibit of John Folsom’s “Summering at the End of Empire” was the perfect backdrop to tie the tree theme together!  Every detail was so pretty!  (Rhonda Eggert of Weddings and Events, Inc. was wonderful as she effortlessly kept everything running smoothly and flawlessly ~ thank you Rhonda!)

Congratulations and hugs Danielle and Greg!
