Oh my! I’m not even sure where to begin with this post about Kate and Mark – but, first of all, Frank and I are officially adopting them (and their friends and relatives) as our extended family. period. We loved them all and this was such a joyous day! Kate and Mark are truly a delight to know! Here’s a glimpse of their wonderful wedding day! …their day began with getting ready in the dressing room at Kate’s church, Christ the King ~
Kate’s beautiful dress was from Priscilla of Boston.
This has been the year of wedding ‘first looks’. In years past, only a handful of our couples wanted to see each other before the ceremony – but not this year! Almost half of our weddings have had a ‘first look’ which all of the brides (and grooms) say helps to calm those last minute ‘jitters’. We thought we would give you a glimpse of Kate and Mark’s first look from my vantage point and Frank’s. Mark’s smiles and grins say it all!
Sydney and Meg were such perfect little ladies and the ultimate flower girls! David and Austin did a great job as ring bearers too!
This long walk down and back is so magnificent ~ we never cease to get goose bumps as the back doors open and the bride begins her processional …
The reception was held at the elegant and historic Biltore Hotel on West Peachtree Street – so beautiful!
and, I couldn’t resist this sweet picture of Kate’s grandmother, Muv. She told me she loves signing all of her letters, ‘with love, Muv’ … how precious is that?!Congratulations Kate and Mark!!!
